The First Step

I'm not good with blogging. I told you in the first post and I think this post is the final proof. It's Week 6 and I'm making a post about the first one. Anyway, the first lesson started off with Johnston and Thomas' principles of animation, which are the following: Squash and Stretch Anticipation Staging Straight Ahead / Pose to Pose Follow Through / Overlapping Action Slow In / Slow Out Arc Secondary Action Timing Exaggeration Solid Drawing Appeal We began studying the simplest (and probably most important!): Arcs. As an exercise, we needed to watch and tape a bouncing ball and a walking person.
